Example for agents
Embed a floor plan on your website
This embed example shows how to put an interactive floor plan on your own website with one piece of code. Buyers switch floors, look around in 2D and 3D, and see the area of each room by the measuring standard. Below is how it looks on a listing page.
Example: this home does not exist
Villa with garden
- Detached
- Basement
- Three floors
- Garden with a shed

Floor plan made with Squaremetry
About this home
A spacious villa with a basement, two floors and an attic, a garage and a garden with a shed. The floor plan below is the real thing: tap a room or move the mouse over it.
In three steps
Put it on your own site
- Draw the home in Squaremetry, or open one you made before.
- Click Share and then Ready? Share your floor plan. Copy the code for your website.
- Paste the code into an HTML block in WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or your listing software. The plan fits the width of the page.
Good to know
- What do buyers see?
- The floors as tabs, the plan with textures and furniture, the area of each room with the name of the standard, and 3D. Nobody can change anything.
- Does it cost anything?
- Embedding is free. A small line under the plan links to Squaremetry; with Pro or Team you can leave it out.
- Does it stay up?
- Yes. The link works until you turn it off. If it ever stops, your page shows a calm card instead of an error.
Start with your first floor plan
Your first home is free for 30 days, no card needed. After that: $5 per home, or Pro from $24 a month.
